'Twilight' director David Slade looks like the lead contender to direct Wolverine 2.
A sequel to the first 'X-Men: Origins,' 'Wolverine' is moving forward and so far potential directors have been narrowed down to Slade and Robert Schwentke, best known for his work on 'The Time Travelers Wife.'
According to New York Magazine’s Vulture Blog, Hugh Jackson, who plays Wolverine, will have the final decision.
Slade is originally from the UK and began his career as a music video director.
"I get really anal about how to make the camera tell the story," Slade told io9.com about his directing style. "...I'm a big fan of horror movies. But I prefer visceral to viscous, let's just say that."
