Scottish songstress Susan Boyle will cover a Madonna song on her upcoming debut album, it has been revealed.

The “Britain’s Got Talent” star will include the pop legend’s 1995 track “You’ll See” because it is a personal favorite of hers, sources say.

"Susan chose it herself - it's a song she has loved for years,” they told Yahoo Music.

“She sang it at auditions for TV shows and music contests when she used to be cruelly turned away by people.

"At the end, when she was sometimes reduced to tears, she used to say, 'You'll See.’ And she's proof she can do it now as one of the most famous women in the world.”

Over the past few months, Boyle has been working on material for her album, which is titled“I Dreamed a Dream” after her unforgettable “Britain’s Got Talent” performance that generated millions of hits on YouTube.

“I Dreamed a Dreamed” is scheduled for a November 24 release, and has already blown the competition out of the water by topping Amazon’s U.S. pre-release chart.

“You’ll See” is a fitting choice for the 48-year-old singing superstar. Not only will she be able to rock the vocals, but Boyle has proved that she performs best when she sings a tune that’s close to her heart.

In my opinion, many of Madonna’s songs would suit Boyle’s vocal style. I’d like to see her have some fun with the upbeat “Open Your Heart To Me.” It’s an innocent love song, and Susan is an innocent, loveable person.

“The Power of Goodbye” from Madonna’s 1998 “Ray of Light” album would be a great pop ballad for Boyle to cover.

Though the 48-year-old hasn’t experienced a breakup herself, she knows loss all too well (Boyle often dedicates her performances to her late Irish mother, Bridget). She could bring incredible emotion to this beautiful song.
