Songs for the Nov. 19-20 Irish dancing competitions – VIDEOS

by PATRICIA MCNAMARA, Feis America Magazine contributor

Heading to Feis ATL or the Celtic Rose Feis in Georgia this weekend? Or maybe you’re hitting up the Western US Oireachtas in California? Or maybe even the New England Oireachtas in Rhode Island.

No matter your competitive destination this weekend, we want to share four tunes you should add to your own playlist before lacing up and taking the stage. And in light of the New England qualifiers this weekend, we figured, why not make them our favorite tunes from Massachusetts-based Dropkick Murphys. Best of luck to all competitors and be sure to come back and share your results with us!

“Going Out In Style” – Dropkick Murphys
It’s funny, fast and will get your energy level high.

“As One” – Dropkick Murphys
Play it before—or after—a team or ceili dance.

“Never Alone” – Dropkick Murphys
This will help ya keep your head held high no matter your results.

“Warriors Code” – Dropkick Murphys
A jam that will make you want to never stop practicing and give it your all with every dance. “A quitter never wins” after all.
