If it’s not broken, don’t fix it, right? Hollywood hunk Robert Pattinson and film director David Cronenberg are looking to reunite for a “funny” and “weird” new movie about the fall from fame many child celebrities face.

The Metro reports that Pattinson said the new film, with a working title of ‘Maps to the Stars,’ is “about child actors going crazy.”

“The script is really funny and really weird, and captures the insanity of most actors.” It’s being said that ‘most actors’ could include the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.

Pattinson did tell Entertainment Weekly that he’s not sure when the project may begin production. "I don't know if I'm doing it next," he said.

Rumors are floating that Cronenberg is looking to tap Viggo Mortensen, who also frequently collaborates with the director, to be a part of the film.

While news of Pattinson and Cronenberg’s new project is emerging, their latest completed project ‘Cosmopolis’ has finally secured a US opening date. ‘Cosmopolis’ is set to hit American theatres on August 17th according to Ace Showbiz, going head-to-head with ‘The Expendables 2’ and ‘Paranorman.’
