Donald Trump, you're fired. That's the phrase that over 460,000 participants in an online petition hope to hear after demanding Macy's fire The Apprentice boss as a celebrity spokesman.

According to Eonline, Trump's been the acknowledged face of what many consider the racially charged birther conspiracy, a crackpot outfit that refuses to see Barack Obama as a legitimate president because, they say, he faked his birth certificate to claim he was born in the United States.

Birthers are generally scored by the voting public so it's no surprise to see the shopping public looking askance at Macy's for reportedly endorsing its most prominent spokesman.

Trump’s recent Twitter rant on election night calling for revolution after the president's victory was embarrassing enough, but now Trump is facing a rebellion he didn't call for.

Macy's carries Trump's brand of clothing and fragrance, and features his face in many of their ads touting the magic of Macy's.

'Donald Trump does not reflect the 'magic of Macy's,' reads the petition via SignOn.org, the progressive nonprofit online campaign arm of MoveOn.org.

'We urge you to sever ties with him. Macy's says it has a strong obligation to be 'socially responsible' and that 'actions speak louder than words.' Indeed. It's time to act.'
