Two Door Cinema Club, an indie rock band from Northern Ireland, will be the musical act on “Late Night” with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday.
 
The band will launch its North American tour at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York on September 27.

The band will play another gig in Central Park before continuing to gigs in Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. throughout the end of September. Later tour stops include Houston, Denver, and San Diego throughout the beginning of October. The tour will end at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA on October 28. The tour also includes a couple shows in Toronto and Vancouver interspersed with the American gigs.

The North American tour follows the recent release of the indie rock band’s second album “Beacon” featuring the previously released single “Sleep Alone” on September 3. The album has received enthusiastic praise from fans on the group’s official website.

Two Door Cinema Club is from Bangor and Donaghadee, Northern Ireland was formed in 2007. Members include Alex Trimble (vocals and guitar), Kevin Baird (bass and vocals), and Sam Halliday (guitar and vocals). The group got its name after Halliday mispronounced the name of Tudor Cinema, the local cinema and the name stuck. They released their debut album “Tourist History” with French record label Kitsune Music in March 2010. The group come to popularity with hits “What You Know” and “I Can Talk.”
