Get ready for "Lord Of The Dance" in 3D. The international phenomenon shows no signs of flagging nor does its indefatigable originator Michael Flatley. Asked this week if he was surprised himself how big it got Flatley told TNT magazine:

"I kind of knew it would be – I’d been touring the States for years, and I toured with a wonderful group called The Chieftains, a famous Irish band who do international music, but they hired me as their soloist and I danced. I sort of  created my own style of dance, moving away from the Irish thing a little bit. I was very lucky that they let me do that. Night after night I tried new things. I danced to different kinds of music and each night we’d get standing ovations and I thought: 'We’re on to something here."

"Lord Of The Dance" the new 3D film which opens on March 13 claims to give unprecedented access to Flatley’s performance. The maestro explains:

"It is the best seat in the house. No matter how good your seat at a live show, you’ll never be able to come up on stage, but with the 3D experience you can actually be on stage with me and behind me and in places you just couldn’t imagine. It is pretty sensational."
