Justin Timberlake took to the stage on Wednesday night, in a black suit and hat, in front of 40,000 screaming fans at Dublin’s Phoenix Park.

The US star and his Irish fans braved the record-high temperatures at the outdoor event for his first Irish concert in six years.

The “Suit & Tie” singer who recently released his second solo album, “The 20/20 Experience”, performed his latest hit “Mirrors” along with fan favourite songs from his previous albums such as “Cry Me a River” and “My Love”.

Before Timberlake arrived on stage, the Irish band, The Coronas, shared some of their latest songs with fans after UK pop star and former “Voice” UK judge, Jessie J, pulled out of the gig last minute “due to illness,” reports the Irish Mirror.

The Coronas paid tribute to the UK star by playing a surprise cover of her hit song, “Price Tag”, in the middle of their set.

On Tuesday, the singer also canceled her appearance at an RTE 2fm tribute concert in Dublin due to illness.

Timberlake (32) was joined by his wife and actress, Jessica Biel, who watched the show from the VIP area at Phoenix Park in the sweltering heat.

When he arrived on stage at 9:10pm after appearances by the Coronas and “X Factor” winner James Arthur, the “Mirrors” singer commented on the fantastic weather Dublin was enjoying just in time for the outdoor concert.

Entertainment.ie reports Timberlake saying, "Which one of you made the phone call to make sure the sun was out today? I appreciate it."

After the concert, Timberlake tweeted, "Dublin... You sang beautifully and you danced your a**es off. What a special night. Thanks for having us.”

The US star is staying at the Four Seasons Hotel, in Ballsbridge, and is expected to spend some time in Dublin until he jets off to London for his next concert.
