Dwayne Johnson was inspired to go into acting after watching “Indiana Jones”.

The well built actor whose film include “The Scorpion King” and “Tooth Fairy” remembers seeing Harrison Ford at the age of eight and knew from then on his wanted to work in the film industry.

“When I was eight years old, I watched ‘Indiana Jones’ for the first time. I fell in love with movies then and I wanted to be that guy,” he told Total Film.

“I was a big fan of ‘Harrison Ford’ when I was younger, so, even though he wasn’t Arnold Schwarzenegger, he was still a guy who was able to kick a*s and be charming and witty and be intelligent. So I loved that!”

After working in action movies, he became interested in other genres also.

“I wanted the material that I wasn’t getting. I wanted to represent my acting. I had been passing on my action material – just wasn’t for me,” the star added.
