Yes, Elizabeth Taylor has certainly gotten around when it comes to men – and it seems the grand dame would have turned her gorgeous violet eyes in the direction of Colin Farrell if she had her youth back.

Miz Liz gave an interview to the new Harper’s Bazaar in which she gushed about the actors who make her ailing heart feel a bit better these days.  “I love Johnny Depp, and I love Colin Farrell—both brilliant, nuanced actors with great range,” she said.  Nice one Colin – it’s not everyday that one gets a shout-out from a legend like Liz Taylor!

Colin, of course, has his other female admirers too. British actress Keira Knightley told The Irish Times last weekend that she’s a big fan.

“Oh he’s lovely. I had never met him before,” said Knightley, who filmed London Boulevard with Farrell last year.

“And it was an absolute joy. We did the Guardian crossword together and then, when that was done, we’d go on to the Times. The simple one. It became a complete obsession.”

And then there’s Jane Fonda. The ageless workout queen just opened a new play in LA last week, 33 Variations, and sitting in a prime seat cheering her on was none other than Farrell, who posed for pictures with the star after the performance.
