The red haired star who shot to stardom in her role as the timid witch Willow in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" has agreed to rejoin her old cast for the fourth part of the "American Pie" franchise, "American Reunion".

According to reports Hannigan who currently stars in the hit CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" has now agreed to star in the Universal Studios movie despite some the question marks that arose some months ago over whether the original cast would be used in the new movie.

Deadline has reported that the movie's storyline will revolve around her character, her marriage, to Jason Brigg's character, and their children.

Hannigan is the mother of two-year-old Satyana Marie and said that he isn't bothered about the odd playground scuffle.  She says she believes that kids don't have to be perfect as long as they're having fun.

“I’d like to have a sign for the playground that says, ‘It’s okay if your kid takes my kid’s toy. Don’t freak out.’ It’s to be expected..My husband and I respect Satyana the way we respect each other, the way we like to be respected. The idea is to let her develop skills on her own.

“So if two kids are having a conflict over a toy, we don’t want to step in and solve it for them. In my experience, if you let the kids take care of things, they figure it out quickly. Often it’s the parents that have the problem.”
