Bill O’Reilly, host of Fox News’ ‘The O’Reilly Factor,’ and his guest, comedian Adam Carolla, slammed a Wisconsin elementary school’s Spirit Week activities as “somewhat disturbing” during O’Reilly’s June 3rd show.

O’Reilly and Carolla took particular issue with the event for Spirit Week where boys and girls were asked to dress as the other gender for the day, an idea which was spearheaded by the school’s own student council.

Of the Spirit Week event, O’Reilly said, “educators who run this place apparently felt that girls and boys should switch genders, it's all voluntary but somewhat disturbing."

O’Reilly went on to say, "It's all about anti-bullying and putting the children in other people's positions so they don’t make fun of girls and boys. It's a politically correct tactic that’s far too sophisticated for the children to understand and that’s why it's stupid, and that's why these educators are pinheads."

The event, however, was not intended to be an anti-bullying one. It was just meant as fun for the kids, created by the children at the elementary school.

“While they may have noble intent,” O’Reilly later continued, “they have no idea how children process things. You don't dress up like a little girl when you're five and you're a boy. That's just stupid."

Carolla went on to say,"Putting a boy in a poodle skirt and saddle shoes is bullying. I mean, listen, I have a six-year-old son, I have twins. He had to ride in his sister's pink car seat the other day for a mile and he screamed like a stuck pig the entire time."

O’Reilly praised Carolla’s son’s reaction, saying "That's a good sign. That's a good sign because, if he had liked that, you might have to send him to camp."

O’Reilly didn’t elaborate on what kind of “camp” he meant.
