Generations X-ers have been on the case of a "Tron" sequel since the early 1980s and now it's finally coming true not only that but the filmmakers and Disney Games UK have been working alongside each other to make the new Tron video game the best it can be.

Speaking behind the scenes the designers, producers and star of the film Olivia Wilde (of "House" fame) explains that their aim was to create a parallel between the video game and the movie so that the views / gamers will feel like they are an extension of each other. Wilde believes the movie will be a huge success.

The film will be released on December 17th, just in time for Christmas. Jeff Bridge reprises his role as the creator of "Tron".  This is the debut movie of Joseph Kosinski and all eyes are on him.

The computer game "Tron: Evolution" is currently in development at Propaganda Games and will be released for the PC, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS platforms on December 7.
