Pictures have been released from the set of the remake of the classic film “The Clash of the Titans.”

Entertainment Weekly British film magazine Empire published photos of Irish actor Liam Neeson in character as the king of the gods, Zeus.

The Irishman is sporting a suit of gold armor, and dark brown, Zeus-like long hair and full beard.

The new images also give us a glimpse of Australian actor Sam Worthington (“Terminator Salvation”) as the mighty hero Perseus. “Clash of the Titans” centers around the Greek myth of Perseus and his epic battles with Medusa and the Kraken monster in order to save a Princess Andromeda.

The newest film version, a remake of the 1981 original movie, will hit theaters on March 26, 2010.

The film, which co-stars Neeson’s good friend Ralph Fiennes as Hades, is from “Transporter” director Louis Leterrier, and is currently in post-production.
