A group of Irish students have built a device that has enabled a paralyzed rugby player to write again.

A rugby injury left Donal O’Flynn paralyzed at the age of 16. Since then, he has been confined to a wheelchair, with limited use of his hands and arms.

A group of students from the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in Dublin worked to create a device that would help Donal hold a pen.

This video from Fixperts shows how design made it possible for Donal to write for the first time in 15 years.
