After a three year hiatus Chicago's South Side Irish Parade is back on this year, although it is not known yet how much organizers will have to pay for the privilege.

According to NBC decision was made to reboot the parade but this time with a zero tolerance for alcohol policy, which has parade committee members feeling optimistic about rehabilitating its national image after scenes of mayhem in 2009.

The parade was canceled three years ago because of riotous behavior but now the organizers  say its time to bring it back this March.

The city has accepted an application for the parade to be held on March 11, but Chicago officials have warned that a permit will not be issued until the committee pays for city services.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel's administration are concerned that the committee must also reveal how it plans to handle security before moving forward.

Meanwhile the final bill for the parade is still unknown and won't be published until today.
