Sarah Palin fan Bill O’Reilly thinks the former Alaska governor has big things in store for her in her political future.
“The O’Reilly Factor” featured two segments on Palin on Wednesday night: a discussion on the media’s perception of the former vice presidential candidate and a talk on her new book.
Palin’s autobiography, “Going Rogue,” is set for a November 17 release, and has already topped the pre-order charts on Amazon, closely trailing sales of Dan Brown’s new book.
O’Reilly predicts the book “will be number one, and it’s going to be a big success.”
In a conversation with guest Dennis Miller, the Irish-American political pundit also called Palin an “amazing woman,” and a politician that’s “underestimated by the American media.”
But to ensure success, as O’Reilly’s sure she will, he says the former Alaskan governor must “fight back.”
“She has to expand her base if she wants to be a presidential contender or even run for the Senate,” O’Reilly said, adding: “She probably could win in Alaska by running for the Senate.”
The Fox News commentator admits that the media is never going to give Palin a break, and so she must address why they don’t like her.
“I think that Sarah Palin, to some extent, has to use this media stuff to her advantage,” O’Reilly said. “She may in the book.”
