Alec Baldwin once again ruled out the chance of a NYC mayoral run next year and slammed House Speaker Christine Quinn as “untrustworthy."

The Hollywood star said he intended to back Public Advocate Bill De Blasio in next years election.

Speaking to CNN’s Piers Morgan, the '30 Rock' actor said Quinn was a “nice person”, but proceeded to criticize the Irish American for the role she played in ending term limits, thus enabling Bloomberg’s third election.

“She was the one who single handedly killed the voter referendum at Bloomberg’s behest and gave him a third term,” he said. “And I was very, very upset about that.”

The 54-year-old added: “Quinn has that blood on her hands.”

“In terms of her political aspirations she is a very untrustworthy person.”

Baldwin described Quinn as Bloomberg’s handpicked successor, a trait he dislikes.

“I resent that to some degree – that Bloomberg feels he needs to control the fate of City Hall and of
Gracie Mansion beyond his term,” Baldwin said.

“I am very interested in what the post Bloomberg New York will look like.”

The Long Island born actor said he would have “loved” to have run for Mayor, but fundraising efforts dissuaded him.

“It was something I would have loved to have done,” he said.

“You would have to take about a year-and-a-half of your life to do nothing but raise money, and I didn’t have time because I am doing the TV show now.”
