Woody Allen and Mia Farrow’s son named a Rhodes Scholar

Ronan Farrow, who works as a State Department special adviser on global youth issues, has been named a Rhodes Scholar.
 
The 23-year-old Yale Law School graduate was one of the 32 Rhode Scholars representing the United States this weekend.
 
A child prodiegy, Allen, the son of Woody Allen and Mia Farrow, entered Bard College at the age of 11. By 16 he had been accepted by Yale Law.
 
He now resides in Washington and works as Special Advisor for Global Youth Issues for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He is also a political commentator on United States TV and has written for newspapers on the topic of human rights.
 
This scholarship, founded in 1902, will provide him with two or three years, all expenses paid study at the University of Oxford in England.
 
At birth, his mother, Mia Farrow was named Satchel Ronan O'Sullivan Farrow. Allen and Farrow separated in 1992 and a high-profile custody suit followed as Woody Allen’s relationship with Farrow’s adopted daughter, Soon Yi, was revealed. Mia won the battle.
