All life is sacred, regardless of rank, status or group affiliation! We need to avoid the perfectly understandable human failing of making a virtue out of victimhood, even if ones religion elevates martyredom to the status of a totem. We need to let go of the past and move on. Life is to short for enmity and rancour. Turn the other cheek!

The provisional IRA is still active and working in the organized crime community. The idea is to "keep the pot boiling" and to every so often "pour salt on an open wound". Gerry Adams is still in the mix with his socialist ambitions. You can bet that John Kerry is sympathetic. The idea is to make Ireland into a socialist republic along the lines of Hugo Chavez. As a Navy vet, I was told this while on shipboard duty in the Med by two Brit officers on board for anti-submarine training.
