McHugh, you have one thing in common with Obama and that is the use of lies. Are you that much a self hating anti-Catholic that you would spread lies about the Pope and Cardinal. You must be living in Ireland. I will bet you are not a doctor. Shameful.

Dr. McHugh, I have been reading these same charges for some time. It's a disgrace that the Vatican is used as a hiding place for American Pedophile Protector Bishops and Cardinals.

i'm sorry, but people should leave their RELIGION at HOME when they go to vote.....DON'T vote according to the person's relgion that is running...and DON'T vote according to your religious beliefs....RELIGION HAS NO PLACE IN POLITICS.

God hates Republicans. Why else would He send Hurricane Sandy to undermine Mitt Romney's chances?

I do not know if many Catholics are aware that Pope Benedict XVI and Cardinal Dolan have been complicit in the sexual abuse of innocent children by priests. I am a Catholic physician. I have met many who have been sexually abused by priests. I have read that the Pope & hierarchy are afraid that they will be prosecuted for what they have done, if Obama is re-elected, since President Obama cares about the protection of children from sexual abuse. Cardinal Dolan paid predator priests to leave the priesthood and did not notify the police, therefore more children are at risk of sexual abuse. The Pope was head of the office that dealt with abuse cases for 24yrs before becoming Pope. These celibate men want to get rid of Obama. I believe religious freedom is not at stake. The hierarchy refuse to accept the compromise of President Obama to free the hierarchy from paying for women's reproductive needs. Insurers have agreed to pay, so women will have their needs met
Sincerely, Dr Rosemary Eileen McHugh

Every election someone claims credit for winning. Sure, Catholics could take credit but so could Hispanics, women, seniors etc.

Yeah, "bunches of fun." Life is sacred until after your born. Then they can draft you and put you on death row for a capital crime. If you happen to be innocent, tough luck if theyi execute you before the DNA tests come through, in case you are innocent. I love you "prolifers."

Hermet Talker: By law no tax $$$ is used for abortion (including in the new Obama Care law--read it for yourself). Women are asking their INSURANCE COMPANY to cover contraception NOT the government. Please inform yourself of the law before you make these statements. What is dignified about a women ruining her health or risking her life w/ non-stop pregnancies--or are you celebate w/ your wife? Almost all Catholic women use contracepion--hello!

Romney opposes abortion EXCEPT in the case of rape, incest or threat to the mother's life. The bishops say there can be NO exception! Former senator Coburn a Romney supporter says that Romney will NOT act to overturn Roe v's Wade.So Romney can, by no strech of the imagination be called pro -life.How can anyone put a lesser value on one form of human life over the other and then try to call oneself PRO-LIFE?

Bunchesofun, thee are more issues than the one, and more issues about which the Church should be concerned. There are two wars in the middle east that the Catholic Church opposed. There is the issue of capital punishment, supported by Republicans and opposed by the Church. It would be easy if this were a case of being on one side or the other of one issue. Life is far more complicated than that. And bippybellito, your post is another example of the despicable lies the Republicans have been bombarding the airwaves with since this campaign began and nothing you said is true.
