  Trump shows up every 4 years, between wives, and announces he is going to run for President. It's just ego and publicity seeking, and those of us in the states don't pay any attention to anything he and his teaparty mind set have to say.

  I can' BELIEVE anyone pays attention to anything Whoopi Goldberg let's come out of her yap! Clearly, her brain is not hooked up to that mouth. Ms. Goldberg lost her argument the second she injected race. Jamthecat, no issue has been made about where John McCain or any other presidential candidate was born simply because it wasn't a secret. McCain has never tried to hide the fact that he was born in the Canal Zone. Why should he? The requirement says you must be "a natural-born citizen of the United States of America." Do you honestly think that we should deny any child of the military who is born while the parent is on active duty outside the U.S. the right to run for the U. S. Presidency? Please!

  Obama is 1/2 white and 1/2 black, so race is not a possible issue! Some herin say his BC has been viewed, Where and by whom? A Certificate of Live Birth has went around, but that is NOT a Birth Certificate. Something evil is amiss here folks... Bad, Wicked, and Evil!

  How does he travel abroad with out a Passport? The Birth Certificate is REQUIRED to obtain a passport! (An official, long-form BC with a government Seal on it. Not a Certificate of Live Birth; that won't do!)

"Because I never hear of any white president being asked to show his Birth Certificate..." Obama is a Mamzer! He IS as much white as he is black! How can race enter when he is both?   Trump is right. I had to show my birth certificate to get a job, but Obama doesn't. It is all about the Civil Rights. Ron Paul has a good idea repeal the Civil Rights Laws. More Irish American have been discriminate in employment through Affirmative Action, then at any time in Irish American History.

  No, Towngate - Mother Obama's passport records were "purged to save file space on the computers", all quite innocent... No, Deidra47, just about ALL of Obama's early life is a mystery. If you think it's not, then YOU tell me what time Obama was born, who the attending physician was, what hospital? Where? The only actual "certification" he got was the clearance of Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. That's it. I don't trust Nancy. Was he Editor of Law Review? Sure. Did he publish anything?_ Just try to find it. All of his education is "sealed." WHY? Whoopee jumps up and down because she's not as stupid as she looks, and she knows, where there's smoke, there's fire.

  I think Donald Trump is right on. Obama is a paid employee of every taxpayer in this country. When I applied for a job, I needed to show proof of my identity and citizenship. I also needed to show educational background as well. I needed to show a birth certificate to get a drivers license and a passport. Why should Obama be any different and lets not get into the race thing because I'm white and expect to have to produce these things myself. As one of his many Employers of this country, I agree with Donald Trump that he should be made to produce all of the above. Also, what happened to his law degree and Michelles? Why were they taken away?

  I have seen Obama's "certificate of live birth" on numerous occasions. There is a announcement of his birth in a newspaper at the time of his birth. There are numerous pictures of him as a child in Hawaii. Wasn't he the first black editor of the Harvard Law Review? The garbage about no one knowing him from college is just that: garbage. And by the way, Trump will never run. He knows the scrutiny he would be subject to and there are probably a few things he wouldn't want to reach the light of day. It's time for the nutjobs to leave Obama alone with the birther fraud. It is all public; open your minds. Obama better get off his arse and start making the jobs appear.   The newly elected Governor of Hawaii made a campaign promise to clear up the birth certificate mess when elected. Governor Abercromie has yet to produce the valid birth certificate and a source close to the governor states that they can't find it..President Obama please show us your birth certificate and quiet all these birthers and while you're at release you college records.

  I work in a U.S. government job.. Everyone who applies for a government position MUST show a birth certificate.. Not a Baptismal certificat or any other document, it MUST be a Certificate of birth.. (and not a copy) It must have an authentic seal on the certificate. So why shouldn't anyone who is running for President not have to show this to prove they are who they say they are.. There were many other unanswered questions concerning his affiliations prior to becoming President. If you or I were applying for government work ad show any affiliations to ANY organization or person who may be a threat to national security, not only would you be turned down for the job, but possibly taken in custody for investigation!

  trump can afford to fly to Hawaii and pay for a copy of Obamas birth certificate. It has been available to the public since he entered the political arena. The only difference is ,before you could get it free. Now so many of the right wingers want to see it ,there is a charge because it was occupying most of their time complying to these requests.

  Look, I'm not a fan of Barak Obama (I'm a LIBERAL and he has proven to be ANYTHING but), however there is one simple fact about this whole mess that puts the lie to the birthers' claims that this is not about racism -- John McCain was not asked for his birth certificate and he was most definitely not born in the US; he was born in Panama. But since he's white, people took his word that he's a natural American citizen and let him run without question. Not one president prior to Barak Obama has been asked to prove his place of birth, but then they were all white. This is just a case of a lot of white people angry at the fact that there is a black man in the White House, and never mind that he's really just a Republican in Democrat's clothing. As for Donald Trump, here we have another spoiled rich brat aiming to buy his way into the presidency, all to placate his ego. Anyone who supports or votes for this twerp is, to put it kindly, an idiot.

The law, here in the states, state that you mush show proof of your birth in order to become president. So just stop the bologna and show it and put all doubts to rest.

  I have to agree with Trump. Why not show the the birth certificate. To get a passport you have to produce a birth certificate... to enter the military you need a birth certificate (so we know that every president since FDR, (with the exception of Bill Clinton, had to prove citizenship at some point.
