Whoopi Goldberg lashes out at Donald Trump over President Obama’s passport - VIDEO
Whoopi Goldberg and Donald Trump got into a heated row over President Obama's birth certificate on "The View".
Trump who has been talking about running for president has been getting some attention of his comments about Obama's citizenship.
On "The View" Trump said "Why doesn't he show his birth certificate?"
Goldberg cut in with "Why should he have to?"
Trump insisted "Because I have to and everybody else has to, Whoopi." Trump said he believed Obama has a birth certificate. However, he said that the President should show it to remove the "pall" hanging over him.
The millionaire celebrity also questioned by "nobody from [Obama's] early years remembers him" and wondered whether there was "something on that birth certificate that he doesn't like."
This was the final straw for Goldberg and Barbara Walters. Goldberg said "That's a terrible thing to say…oh my God...that's the biggest pile of dog mess I've heard in ages…it's not 'cause he's black, is it?" Trump said it had "nothing to do with that."
Golberg continued "Because I've never hear any white president being asked to show his birth certificate…When you become the president of the United States of America, you know that he's American. I'm sorry. That's just B.S."
