Great news! I never visited The Waterford Wedgewood company
when I as in Ireland and was sorry to hear the tradition might not go on there. It sounds like Ireland's economy is starting to come back, a little at a time. Go Irish!

So glad to hear it. I had not realized that it had closed last year. Waterford is an Irish Icon, not to be missed, not to be made elsewhere or by anyone other than the Irish! Some things should never change.

I am very happy about this. Irish glass should be made in Ireland, not Germany. It is important that the craft of the glass artists should never be lost.
