"Hurricane Katia is battering Ireland and causing havoc across the country"lol. The odd gust of wind that reaches a maximum wind speed of 69mph is hardly a hurricane.I was looking at the live Beaufort scale in Cobh Cork. The wind never reached over 40mph.
it`s only blowing a gale, it`s the dying remnants of the hurricane that hit the USA - not quite on the same devastating scale.
Do take this seriously - be safe.
God Bless You, Ireland. We get hurricanes every year here on the coast of North Carolina. It is no fun.
Now I really know why they have all those rock walls
Put lots of rocks in your pockets and hunker down !!
