Steady on the generalisation, guys! I'm Irish and would neither buy - not complain (i.e. inadvertently advertise) controversial merchandise from "Upchucking Infitters" (sic[k]). Even less so than I would take remotely seriously anything designer propagandistis/public relations people would sell, like a reheated British Commonwealth. Or financially lucrative but ethically-cleansed Irish trade missions to China which ignore the inconvenient truth of its abuse of Tibet and Tibetans. Free Tibet flags over Tiannemen Square NOW!

GeorgeDillon has posted more or less what I intended to say. It's a depressing fact, but let's face it-the Irish will buy this rubbish-Urban Outfitters know this perfectly well.

There's a lot of hypocrisy here. These same shirts are on sale in Ireland and sell very well. If the Irish don't mind being portrayed as a race of drunken fools, why should we try to spoil it for them?
