United States investment accounts for 26.5 of Ireland’s GDP totaling $57.5 billion

The 515 US firms in the Ireland are here for one reason - to avoid paying taxes. The US Congress has just completed an investigation into this loophole and found that this avoidance issue is costing America dear. The largest consumer economy in the world receives practically zero tax revenue from companies who are headquartered and sell their products there - Apple, Intel, Google included.
