A quick google search gave the information that they are still investigating the cause of death. Perhaps it was a heart attack or perhaps a fall? We'll find out sometime presumably.

I wonder at the use of the word "tragic" and "tragically" in reporting the death of Ms. Rooney. Tragic is defined as "causing or characterized by extreme distress or sorrow." So for someone, almost any death is "tragic," making the term unnecessary as a descriptive term. But if the writer is suggesting that this is a particlulary "tragic" event, I must ask, "compared to what?" Death in middle age after a successful life of considerable wealth and privilege can be "tragic" in some circumstances -- murder, torture, horrible accident, the leaving behind of young children, but we do not know any of this to be the case. So let's not be Irishly melodramatic.
