@sirpeter the most important point i wish to make is who gave you the right to stand in judgement of others? Its very righteous of you to act as Judge and Jury. All religions have been guilty of wrong doing over time and throughout history especially the Roman Catholic faith. Lets face it the RC Church are now attempting to silence their own Priests who wish to discuss the sex abuses committed by the employees of the RC Church? Gagging them in effect. How noble and righteous is that?

You cannot place the blame for what happened generations ago on the people whom are living today. Do we apportion blame on the Germans living today for the holocaust of 11 million people during World War 2? Should the Jews race point the finger at every German alive today and make derogatory comments at them obviously in a historic sense? 3. How is it possible to make derogatory comments towards anyone in a historic sense in any event? It is impossible. 4. If is acceptable @sirpeter i am blaming you for Guy Fawkes attempting to blow up the houses of parliament. He was called Guy O'Fawkes and a Catholic of Irish descent. The Oklahoma City Bomber Timothy McVeigh is also your fault as he was a Irish Amercian. Do you not see how stupid your analysis is? Its childish in the extreme. Grow up and switch on your brain. So it is true to say that yes the next generation are mostly bast*rds. The point I made earlier is simple IC is so tilted in the reporting of stories that it always brings religion into every story. Eg. Titanic story. Leads to anti-Catholic sentiment based on what. A claim that sometime was written on titanic which when examined in a mirror reads "No Pope". This type of story is rubbish. It would not be allowed to put into printed form as it would be challenged without foundation or evidence. Wheres the proof of its truth? What someone is alleged to have said. Is that the evidence? Was a photograph taken of this slogan? No. Its probably all made up to fill the IC website pages.

@citizen69.I don't think IC articles are Anti-Catholic as such.But IC are consistently attacking the Catholic church hierarchy.The people are the church,but the Catholic church hierarchy is separate though part of the church too.There is no doubt the Catholic church has handled the abuse cases very badly.But only by covering it up.The reality is all Churches have a problem with pedophilia.2% of the general population are pedophiles and another much higher percentage are homosexual.It's only logical that a lot of these emotionally confused young men have been drawn to the Church.Allan07 makes a good point in saying that IC excludes the Protestant community and their traditions.As they say.There is only one thing worse than been talked about and that's not been talked about.

Why is the IrishCentral news so bigotted? Example. Loads of stories all the time with headlines that include the word "Catholic". Lets look at these and have a list. Here goes.1.Did Anti-Catholic sentiment of Titantic sank the unsinkable ship" 2.Senior ranked Catholic Caridnal George Pell say jews intellectually and morally inferior" 3. Nine of ten Irish Catholics believe priests should be allowed to be married". Oh then theres this story that uses the words "Two Northern Irish men fined for posting anti-Catholic comments on Facebook". The theme here is propaganda written by nationalist for nationalist. How many employees does IrishCentral employ that are Protestant from Northern Ireland or even the Republic of Ireland. I bet you its zip, none or zero. Discrimination againsy the protestant community. I keep asking IrishCentral the same question but no answer. Lots of comments I make never get out on here as its edited by republicans. The site is just a method to promote their republician agenda. They never lets the facts get in the way of a good story.( Even its made up or altered to suit). 100% Propaganda.

@sirpeter: You may be correct in general but i have read some pretty nasty bigoted posts on here in the past that were very much in a present sense (admittedly, probably from idiots who know little about Ireland) . Besides, although this kind of thing is disgusting from whatever quarter, IrishCentral only seem to publish the anti-catholic stories. Just a a couple of months ago a catholic man was in court in Co. Derry for commenting on Facebook that a protestant politician should be shot through the head. I don't recall seeing the story printed here though. Irish Central are very selective about the the stories the will post from Northern Ireland. I rarely see any that show unionists / protestants in a positive light. They never commemorate or mark any atrocities or celebrations relating to the protestant culture. Nail O'Dowd will claim we are all Irish and that Republicans need to persuade unionists that a united Ireland is in everyone's best interest but yet this website still very much seems to see Unionism & Irishness as mutually exclusive.
