The economic domino effect on Ireland was US caused, the US had the first economic failures, Ireland's followed. There is no compartmentalization in world economics, failures in the US affect other countries including Europe.

U.S. is based on the dollar Ireland is based on the Euro, The Irish Domino deals with Europe, but all things go in cycles provided you keep your country free.

It's a stunning resort however it would have done substantially better during the Celtic Tiger rather than now after the US economic collapse and domino effect on countries of the rest of the world including Ireland.
