Third minor earthquake recorded off Irish coast this year
Minor earthquake occurred around 93 miles from the Donegal coast

An earthquake with a 2.7 magnitude was recorded off the coast of Donegal on Wednesday morning.
The British Geological Survey recorded a deep tremor in the Atlantic ocean at around 9:08am. It was recorded at a depth of around 31 miles.
In January of this year another minor earthquake measuring 2.2 on the Richter Scale was recorded off the Donegal coast in the Buncrana area. Once again in March a tremor of magnitude 1.1 was picked up at the British Geological Survey in the same area.

Then, on June 6 a magnitude 4 quake struck around 30 miles off the coast of Mayo.
