saraind: It does seem a lot, but then again it's essentially like chartering a private jet. Plus intensive care, nurse etc. While it would be fine for her family to come to her, maybe she wants to spend her last days in her own homeland, not as a migrant in another country. I pray that this lady finds peace and comfort. Life has dealt her a very bad hand.

maybe they should consider her parents coming to ireland to be with her for the time left and have to worry less of the burden of travel on her. 26,000 seems extreme to get to poland even if she can't fly. cheaper option might be her folks coming to her.
