How about me? My parents came from Ireland. Or better yet how about finding someone with experience in business and government that can run a country, no actors or writers or comedians. Look what is happening to America. You have someone as president who doesn't know what the hell he is doing never had to plan a budget or run a business He got everything he needed from affermative action.
That should have been Jim Sheridan...but hey if Neil Jordan is interested in the gig that's OK too...Oh and I want Brenda Fricker and Orlaigh Brady to play older and younger versions of my mother...such a good looking family we neeed good lookers for authenticity...Plus Brenda Daniel and Jim are almost screen family they've worked together so often and so succesfully...Copies of book is in the post lads...!Just discovered that DDL lived in same part of London as me...Serendippity doo dah...!
Of course it's possible that the R'OG rogue was not being disrespectful to the head of the Saxe Coburg Gotha dynasty..as they like to be called on formal occasions... merely and was demonstrating that rugby is a game played with funny shaped liathroids...The other reason you've got to love the R'OGuester is his refusal to sing that silly bloody 'Irelands Call' anthem....Unlike the rest of the lilylivered yellabellies..Why are people from Wexford called Yellowbellies...btw...Oh is that right...? self explanatory...t'anks a millyin for that...you're welcome don't mention it...! Anyway getting back to my very important point...As Francois Pinaar said to the Serth Ifrikaans...If you don't want to sing the frickin' inthem you cin fick erf...! Happy birthday belated Bill...Have you grown up now...or have you officially returned to your childhood...!
Can't resist - today is Bill Clinton's 65th birthday. Senator Webb points him out as one of many with Celtic (Scots-Irish, but we're a tolerant bunch) roots. He's got experience, he's available, and if needed, I'm sure someone could "adopt" him and pave the way. If Tony Blair can be under consideration, I'd green-light Clinton. He could even re-unite THE COMMITMENTS band and talk about the Irish still being the ******s of Europe. Plus, he has a track record heading up a fiscally solvent sovereign state.
Really..want to share why with us kitty..? I want Daniel Day Lewis to play the part of my father in the film version of my family memoir...I think he is one of the best actors ever...my favourite film is The Boxer but In Name of The Father and Christy Brown are right up there...There will be Blood scared the bejaysus out of me...So if you're reading this Daniel get your people to call my people...and Neil Jordan if you're reading this do the same!
Sure if there's talk of Martin Sheen then why not. I seem to recall a poll with Homer Simpson and President Palmer from '24' as possibilities for the US Presidency over Bush...no surprisingly Palmer won. No messing Mick McCarthy would get my vote out of this list.
For Roana read Ronan...!aaghh!
Or Ronan O'Gara...?He'll be hanging his boots up soon and Kidney never picks him..Love the phictuir of Roana with his hands in his pockets when the team were introduced to the butterbean...apparently it is a tradition going back to the time when the RIC were ordered to shoot on site any Irishman seen with his hands in his pockets...How Corcaigh has changed should be rebranded with a of a picture logo of a 'Royal turd'..to go with the 'Royal We' well it is a bit of a 'DUMP'...
Or how about Liam and Noel...Team work is an important part of the job...!
another DEV that Lewis would bring, would be too too much. Flately having looks and worlwide appeal is yer man.
Fancy Daniel Day Lewis for President...Thought he gone to live in US with his wife Rebecca Miller...? What about Johnny 'Rotten' Lydon...?he could job share with Shane...!love these lists...but not as much as old boreen... hilarious...!
Congratulations Niall! This has got to be one of Irish Central's most inventive space fillers ever! Get a proper day job Dara O'Brien!
Nice list, if a little scary in places! I think you mean breadth though.
