Ted Kennedy’s Washington DC mansion reduced in price
Price lowered in a bid to attract buyers
After months of desperately trying to find a seller for the late Senator Ted Kennedy’s home, his widow Victoria Reggie Kennedy has slashed $1 million off the price of her former 8,900-square-foot residence in Washington D.C..
Located in the u market neighborhood of Embassy Row, the six-bedroom, six-bathroom Southern –style manse was on the market for a whopping $8 million after the late Senator’s widow bought a smaller home for $1.6 million in the same prestigious area.
In an attempt to stir interest in any potential buyers, the house is now listed with Sotheby’s for just under $7 million ($6,999,995).
The palatial home, which was profiled in Architectural Digest in 1999 includes an indoor pool, wine cellar, grotto, stones terraces and spa-like bathrooms.
