Their was this kid from New York who murdered his girl friend and sought refuge in Ireland via his big shot lawyer father. I think eventually we got him, but the Irish Government stonewalled every legal attempt at extradition and didn't care one hoot about this girl. My question is how can anyone have any respect for Irish justice when they pull stuff like that?
This beast not only killed this beautiful girl, he also killed her mother and father. They are now divorced the pain they suffered drove them apart. I saw both interviewed on TV and I cried listening to there heartache, I hope something can be found to keep this ... in jail forever. There is no such thing as closure when you lose a child. Kickstar has it right.
SPIRIT ANGER IS AT IT AGAIN MOB RULE AND ROUGH JUSTICE HOW SAD A HUMAN BEING HE IS.
Sorry noseymama, Annie WAS a beautiful woman as the photo above photo shows. She's now a skeletal corpse buried somewhere in Ireland. As a parent, I can't get over the sense of grief her parents must suffer every day. I pray they find closure too and that the killer finally comes out with the truth. He only has to write a letter or make a phone call or speak to someone. Then the load will be off his mind too, though I mightn’t want to wish that for him.
She is a beautiful woman... I hope their family will have some closure.
hear, hear, kickstar, ole chap, I fear you may be correct.
Protecting the weak and defenseless is the moral responsiblity of a mature society. So why do liberals have a problem with the idea of "making the punishment fit the crime?" Why do they tell those people who believe that the punishment should fit the crime to "grow up?" And why does someone with a screen moniker like "jamthecat" think they are in a position to offer advice as to another person's need to "grow up?"
I think Ireland might just have about the right balance and cultures in it now to introduce an old punishment "Stoning" If not it wont be long.
Dear Spiritranger, Not everything is the fault of a liberal judge or politician. Sometimes -- hell, MOST times it's taxpayers demanding tax cuts while also demanding full services from their government (starting with Proposition 13 in California). Or it's criminal lawyers manipulating the law (organized criminals love them). Or it's the police and district attorneys deliberately planting or withholding evidence, thus forcing the case to be overturned (see Los Angeles, Dallas and Tulia, Texas for evidence of that). Or it's innocent people blamed for a crime that might not even be a crime (see Texas and how that state executed a man for a fatal fire that's been shown to have been accidental, even after evidence was presented to the governor that no crime was committed; and remember the runaway bride that EVERYONE was sure had been killed by her fiance but turned out to have just skipped out on the wedding). You blaming people you have ideological differences with helps no one and provides nothing in the way of repair to a damaged if not broken system...and is actually adding to the damage. Grow up.
In the States, these dirtbags occasionally get what they deserve, life or lethal injection. But alas, even America has let too many of these sick people slip through the system. God hates unrepentant liberal judges and the politicians who back them. God help us all to repent and learn to render righteous judgement against evil as we once did... until then, our women and children are not safe.
10 years? Ireland is like the rest of the Brit Isles ..soft on criminals
Naah Ireland must release him,he is not a pitbull that is innocent of any wrongdoing,Scotland have a similar policy, they released the Libyan Terrorist who blew up a plane that had 270 people on it inluding women and children but just recently an erstwhile judge from there also saw fit to murder a pitbull that had done nothing wrong, but I suppose the pit never had Gaddaffi as his owner,so no backhanders,It is a bloody disgrace.smarock10@yahoo.com
