Wrong, STEVENSTAR, it's a term of abuse that is levelled at all Irish people who are not born in Ireland. I have been called it myself numerous times, but it's a term of abuse we have reclaimed to identify ourselves, just as the Irish born have reclaimed the insults "paddy" and "mick".
