Georgie, we are ALL waiting here for your 'solution' to the migration situation here! Does the 'final solution' still appeal to you? Just admit it, we know thats exactly what you want.

George, your posts are going down a treat! Im setting up a blog called 'The hypocritical face of racism in Irish America' and so far your posts are getting some number of responses, mainly from Irish people by the way but also from a lot of Americans here who are disgusted by your hypocrisy! The general gist is 'HE considers himself Irish American so is from a family of migrants yet HE has issues with migrant families in Ireland??' Brilliant! You couldnt make this sh1t up!

George, you know nothing about Ireland and you certainly know nothing about Denmark. Every country in the EU is open to every citizen from the EU except Romania and Bulgaria at the moment.
That Brevik guy in Norway is wondering where his copy of Mein Kampf is. You really need to return it.
You obviously feel threatened by Pakistani people George. Why dont you come over and compete with them for their jobs? You seem to think youre qualified to do everything and yes, they are just as entitled to come here as someone with an Irish Granny. Did a Pakistani get a job here over you? Aw! You poor thing!
IrelandNorth, you cannot kill a culture until you kill the people who ARE that culture.
You yanks seem to think youre the bastion of Irish culture yet your living in a multicultural part of the world. How has that happened?

Contemporary Ireland resembles one of the few lifeboats on the RMS Titanic. As an island economy, it can only take so many citizens or nationals. One too many, it will start taking in water. Anything more than 10% immigration of native population is a dangerous cultural dilutant and is economically subversive. Racial equality and multiculturalism are sanctified euphemism which monied interests use to lessen labour costs to increase profits. How will Irish workers feel when their current employers arrive with their foreign replacements? IRISHMEN AND IRISHWOMEN fought and died to win freedom for this country from imperialism. Only to have it's limited sovereigty sold for a fistful of Euros by middle-classed descendants who sleep-walked their naive electorate into a new - continental imperialism.

ciaradexy: "what is racist is banning people because they dont have irish relatives". So the children of Irish people shouldn't be allowed into Ireland in preference to people whose parents and grandparents grew up in Pakistan? What a fool you are.

Ciaradexy is really narrow-minded and passive in her "thinking" if we can use that term. She doesn't think for herself. Her way of cutting off all rational analysis is to say "the EU made us do it". Of course that is bunk. First, the EU never made Ireland import the countless Indians, Chinese, Paks, Malays, Africans etc. whom you see thronging downtown Dublin and other cities. Second, the blanket welcome ciaradexy's beloved Fianna Fail gangster government gave to all Latvians, Poles etc was entirely an Irish decision. They were not forced to open their borders, and many other nations didn't. If you want a country within the EU that administers a tough but fair immigration policy, check out Denmark. Just to take one example, the Danes don't accept these ludicrous "marriages" between latvian hookers and Pak migrants who want to get leave to live permanently in the EU. The stupid Irish do, and reading caradexy's nonsense, it's easy to see why.

Just reading an article in the nytimes here= Some Alabama farmers say they are planting less produce rather than risk having tomatoes and other crops rot in the fields a second straight year because of labor shortages linked to the state's crackdown on illegal immigration. Hmmmm. Any suggestions as to what they should do??

How do you know they wont get permanent residency or citizenship of these countries?
Ive already said its not racist to ban immigration! I also said that its not racist to allow immigration but what is racist is banning people because they dont have irish relatives. With falling birth rates Japan and Korea may have to open their borders and allow people the right to live and work there.
Is there a skills shortage in Japan? Are other 1st world countries crying out for Japanese people with certain skills or degrees?
You keep saying 'mass' migration yet you cant define what that is. Do YOU think Ireland should have its own migration laws separate from the rest of Europe? Do you think we can still take the funding from the EU but not allow the people to come here? What do you think Ireland should do when we are short workers with certain skills?

Well, they will get asked to leave eventually, they're only temporary workers, they're never going to get permanent residence there, are they? Japan again-I know nothing about Bhutan, for instance, except it's very poor and has no industry. Should it allow mass migration of Europeans and others? No, because there are no jobs. is it racist? No, for the above reason. But Japan is extremely wealthy, has large industries and has a falling birthrate. Very similar to the west. As for knowing nothing about Japan, well we are exposed to their culture constantly. Everyone loves Japanese and korean gadgets and cars. Immigration is an international issue, it affects every country on Earth. Surely you must be able to say whether, in the face of identical internal issues as the West, should these two fellow First World countries allow mass immigration or not? If they don't want their cultures to be diluted or they don't want to create communities of ethnic minorities, are they racist? or not?

Curit, just to answer your question which I have just read over-Are the japanese racist for not allowing 'mass' migration into their country? No theyre not.
Is ireland racist for allowing migration INTO Ireland?-NO, we are not but aul Dillon there likes to keep telling me that the irish are racist for allowing migrants in.
Maybe japan will suffer down the line if their population keeps decreasing. We were told here that we needed a population increase to help fund an aging population and I believe that.

Murph, exactly! They may have been born and raised here so for that woman to say she wouldnt eat in a restaurant where the staff wasnt irish, was blatant xenophobia. She'd be judging them on their appearance.
If visitors did the same when in the US, Canada, NZ or Australia etc, we'd never eat!
