We teach our children nothing. Not what is right or what is wrong. That life is not a bed of roses. That there will be hard times. To play the hand dealt to you. You are not entitled to anything. If you think you have it hard look around, that the sun will probably come out tomorrow or babey the next day.

A friend once confided to me that he was "suicidal." Ever since he subsequently shot himself, I have lived with regret for doing nothing. I urge everyone to get those who say they are thinking of hurting themselves into treatment.
