Soldier found dead in Irish Government buildings

The body of a 50-year-old soldier was found in the Government Buildings on Merrion Street, Dublin on Monday night.
The man’s body was discovered with a gunshot wound at the military police headquarters. It is believed that he is a member of the defense forces and was from Dublin.
He was discovered at 11pm last night. His death is not being treated as suspicious. Chief of Staff of the Defence Forces Lieutenant General Sean McCann has extended his deepest sympathies to the family of the dead man.

Gee, he has a gunshot wound that killed him. Nothing suspicious about that. Is there? Might want to round out the story with something like "the police say it appears to be self inflicted and his weapon was beside the body. It appears to have been the weapon used."

A Branch of the P.A's(Polini Airm = Military Police) are always on duty in Government Buildings. From the report, the only conclusion one could arive at is suicide so all anyone can do is extend sympathies to the next of Kin.
