It IS you, "Irishwriter"! Quitcher bellyachin'! It's lovely to see Ireland covered with snow. It reminds me of "The Dead"--" . . .the snow falling faintly through the universe and faintly falling, like the descent of their last end, upon all the living and the dead."

Is it me or does it seem like they're all freaking out over there about a dusting of snow? I know the ice is treacherous and all, but I don't see snowfalls anywhere near the 22 inches I shovelled last month! My back still aches from it.

I left VT because of the snow and cold but we have had some cold weather here in Northeastern Texas. Thank god it is about over.

I live in the top of the Texas Panhandle, the temp was 0 this morning and now it is 4. No snow. Snow would be a blessing on top of the wheat fields. Guess we all have problems.
