More bullsh*t.They could easily eradicate smoking if they rose the legal age to purchase a packet of cigarettes year by year thus making it harder and harder for young people to buy them as you need to be older and older to leagally buy them.Somehow I can't see most young people starting if they have to get them from a dealer or have to go to alot of trouble.It would be easier to just forget about them and give them up.

How much tax does the state make from taobacco sales? That said if people didn't spend their money on tobacco products they would spend it on another taxed product.
Smoking is for dopes.

If they get rid of the revenue generated by alcohol and tobacco the country would have to default, so politicians won't do that. If you get everyone of smokes and drink we could get rid of the excess doctors. Why would we need doctors for healthy people?
