I'm really interested in discussing the upcoming petrol tanker drivers' strike and all the pandemonium it is causing here in the UK. Now, I realise this issue has absolutely nothing to do with anything to do with Ireland or Irish America, but what I would like is for an Irish celebrity to make an irrational outburst on this subject on some social networking site, and sure enough it will appear in Irish Central, and that will get the ball rolling. Now, did you have to queue for ages at your local ASDA this evening for some unleaded...?

s/b: Instead of trying to blame Martin, or his hoodie for his own murder, why aren't people asking why this child’s BODY sat in a morgue for three days as a John Doe before his parents were notified; even though his real name was on the police report from the fist day?

Last night the police released a video tape of the man who shot and killed a young man simply walking home in American. Not a bruise could be seen on him, not a drop of splattered blood on his clothes to indicate any fight to save his own life. Another witness has come forward stating the screams for help ended with the “shot” as previously reported by another in the complex. During the interview with this family the “lead investigator” told the witness he believed this child was a victim of bias and manslaughter and he was attempting to prove it. Zimmerman a neighborhood vigilante/ watchman and son of a judge pursed this kid with a 9 millimeter gun and shot him in chest.. dead. Instead of trying to blame Martin, or his hoodie for his own murder, why aren't people asking why this child’s sat in a morgue for three days as a John Doe before his parents were notified; even though his real name was on the police report from the fist day?The mortician stated there was not a bruise or cut knuckles or skinned knees on his body which would have been present in an extreme struggle. All facts are pointing in one clear direction..This kid was pursed, and "shot down" even when the police told Zimmerman not to follow. This child was stalked and murdered and all else is bias and distraction.

Sinead! What about the white student who was doused with gasoline by two black students in Kansas City around the first week of March? I guess he doesn't count?

Irish interloper intruding in American affairs, par for the course. for all my Irish friends or detractors, the interference happens both ways. The American system is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. since a month has passed since the incident I can only assume the political powers have decided this case will provide a good smoke screen. Use the race baiting to divide and conquer, if the mark isn't of the race you want tell them they are, it will play to the scenario of the media.

Why is Sinead O'Connor commenting on the legal system in a country that is not her own? I am an old criminal defense lawyer who has defended people whom "everyone knew was guilty". The story is NEVER as it seems. Usually it is somewhere in the middle of all of the posturing. We have recently learned that both parties had skirmishes with the law and had their defects. Leave our system alone Sinead. It is none of your business, and our constitution guarantees that we are innocent until the State proves us guilty with solid evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. We don't arrest people just because people like you demand it. Thank God.

Oh, and you won't see this behavior in the Florida County I live in. Our Sheriff would have every single one of the protestors arrested as soon as one threat was made.

I think is getting out of control. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the Black Panthers need to go home. They are promoting racism themselves. Threatening to harm white babies shows exactly how ignorant they are. Wanting Justice is one thing, but stooping low to promote racial divide is another. Next thing you know, the KKK will be involved and more innocent lives will be killed. Jesse Jackson has done nothing to prove he is against racial divide. When the 4 black men killed the white couple in Boston just a few years ago, I sure didn't see him step up to the plate and you sure didn't see riot folks gathered up to riot. I tell you, America has gone straight to hell. I think it is time I packed up and moved.

Was she speaking as a private citizen, singer or self styled bishop?
It debases the whole case when a publicity crazed individual feels the need to use the tragedy as a vehicle for self ptomotion.
