Obviously working on day rates and not a shift worker! The oldest profession in the world.

Ridiculous Price? Don't they realise there is a recession.
Would get it for a third of that price in Spain.

What a pity this needs to be a "news" story. Some things it is simply *tacky* to pay for, but some people always will. If you don't want prostitution to be a problem in public, LEGALIZE it, control it (keep it medically safe and off the street - or beach) and TAX it! It more or less works for alcohol; why not add this to the plethora of "sin taxes" if you *really* want a balanced budget? It seems to work in a conservative state like Nevada in the U.S..

Connemaragirl - who are you calling "rubbish," the men who pay for it (some of them Irish I am assuming) or the prostitutes? Prostitution is. and will always be the world's oldest profession. and it is men (and women in some cases) who perpetuate it, so why not make it legal and stop moralizing about it! It really is no big deal. If God didn't want us to enjoy sex, he never would have made us sexual beings. It is the ONLY reason any of us exist. Here, in America, sex is for sale in almost any town, city, etc in broad daylight although it is illegal. With all the major issues in this country, I can't imagine taxpayers' money wasted on such a petty issue!

For years sex was for sale openly day and night on Benburb st in Dublin, I would imagine you would find amourous couples quicker on any beach in Ireland. Sex on a beach anytime in Ireland no thanks you would freeze to death, mind you summers were hotter when I was younger. How will we deport our own hodlums ??????? I live beside lakes and any night of the week several cars are parked up and its not prostitution. Mind you giving me food for thought you are never too old, ARE YOU ?

Like some one else said, Sex on a cold beach in Feb. If some one is so desperate as to pay for that they are worth worrying about. As for the girls the tide wouldn`t take them out regardless of their nationality.
Some one told me they seen one or two. lol

I have never seen this type of thing before on any beach in Donegal. I stay in a family cottage in Dunfanaghy every year and we spend a lot of time on the beaches especially Malin Head. Last time I saw anyone acting suspiciously it turned out to be Mr Adams trying to put his coat on inside out.

The majority of Eastern Europeans in Ireland are in Ireland both legally (part of the Euopen Union and can travel freely around the EU) and are law abiding, hardworking people. One presumes the charge includes getting sand out of the bodies, shower if they have such facilities. Such a sad way to survive. Sex in private or public or classes in school does not cure anyone's desire to act the animal. The brain needs a heart/soul to control us so education and practice do not guarantee a secure public.

Of course prostitution is a problem - but more public sex by consenting adults might well get people used to the idea of sex. And stop rape and many other kinds of perversions.
When you make something secretive - the curiousity gets the better of some people.
I'm going to Kopenhagen to thrill at gay pride and their gay marriage. If my hubby doesnt freak we[ll both go to the naked beach a few KM north of Kop.

Anyone caught in this sort of behavior should be immediately and unconditionally DEPORTED from Ireland, and barred from ever returning. Period! Is this not being done? If not, WHY not? What excuse is there for not shipping these people OUT, at once?
