I met her and her husband at an Irish event in midtown NYC more than 10 years ago and both were very nice.
I spoke to them for 2 minutes and got a picture. they are a great NYC couple.
she is prettier in person but its her personality that won me over. smart and witty wins out over beautiful and stupid everytime, Meg Ryan and Tara Reid are in the second category.
that she took the time to spend her money in an actual irish store in Yonkers makes her even more cool.
dont buy irish foods on the internet if there is an irish store nearby. support the community.
foodireland.com is an impersonal warehouse in Mount Vernon on martin luther king blvd, eventually it will be sold to some wall street walmart type numbers cruncher moron and the warehouse will move to india.
their website is convenient but it comes across to me as utterly faceless.
you shop there, you are putting hard working irish store owners and their employees in America out of business.
the more you shop there, yes the prices will get cheaper, but its not a neighborhood store. no Irish neighborhood stores, no irish neighborhood. its a simple as that.

For a star she's over-rated. Ugly too.

Filming on Winter's Tale, a story about 1890's Irish life in New York start's in Yonkers Oct. 29 th. The film will star Russell Ceowe and Colin Farrell. Looks like the area will be a perfect site!
