And ironically, another American of Irish ancestry, Keith Halloran (who's a liberal Democrat candidate for the state House in New Hampshire) has said that he wished Sarah Palin and Levi Johnston had gone down on the plane O'Keefe was on. Now...had a conservative openly wished this of a liberal, don't you suspect the likes of Cahir O'Doherty and Niall O'Dowd would have been all 'hopping mad' about it and writing articles out the wazoo (and happily seconded by the leftie trolls on this site, expressing their 'outrage' and 'shock' at such a comment)? But instead, nothing but the sound of crickets. Not a peep, from them. Apparently it's okay for libs to wish death on conservatives, but it's NOT okay (stern voice and finger wagging, here) for the reverse. I find ANY such comments bad, and only hope these families involved find comfort at this time.

Air travel is inherently dangerous in Alaska. The wx is always the wildcard. I would be surprised if this was a mechanical malfunction, that was a fine aircraft they were flying, perfectly suitable for the environment.
