Ryanair is a very successful Irish company, and the most successful airline in the world, and Mr O'Leary unlike others, lives in Ireland, and pays his taxes to the Irish state. However while i have little sympathy for Aerlingus, we do need competition in our island nation. Before the arrival of Ryanair I well remember paying over £200 for a flight to London.
What a thick comment below. If Ryanair take over Aerlingus it will be a sad day for irish travellers. He will have total control. Competition, well ireland would have very little as an island nation.
It was a great day for Ireland when St Patrick got rid of the snakes. If O'Leary can get rid of Aer Lingus he should be canonized.
