You can't have it both ways...cheap fares and lots of carryons. Why couldn't she fit it in her own carry-on. Too bad we can't get them to cross the atlantic.

She's right, she can fly some other airline. Ryanair isn't the only London-Doire airline. I have flown Ryanair and got incredible deals, particularly across the Irish sea. It's annoying to pay more, but not sure you could ever beat them in price, if you reserve ahead.
