Rep Gabrielle Giffords and Mark Kelly’s memoir to be published in November
New book will tell love story of couple
The memoir of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and her astronaut husband Mark Kelly is due out on November 15.
The book "Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope," was co-written by Jeffrey Zaslow and is published by Scribner.
The Arizona democrat is still recovering from the January 8 shooting which left her with serious head injuries, after a gunman opened fire outside a Tucson store, killing six people.

Kelly and Giffords were married in 2007 and the book will recount their individual stories. It has been described by the publisher as "a deeply personal account”. It will also detail the January shooting as well as Kelly’s bed side vigil.
Spokesman for Scribner, Brian Belfiglio said Wednesday that Giffords "has been fully engaged with the collaborative writing process of the book at every step."
