Rape-accused Greg Kelly has not spoken to prosecutors in case
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly’s son, Greg, has not spoken to Manhattan DA investigators who are handling the alleged rape case against him, the New York Post reports.
However, a leading defence attorney has advised the FOX TV anchor to do so.
“Although it’s a very unorthodox strategy, I would not hesitate to have Greg Kelly sit down with the DA or investigators,” Arthur Aidala, a lawyer not associated with the case told the Post.
“He’s intelligent, articulate, credible.”
“He needs to preserve his good name by any means necessary,” he added.

Kelly (43), the co-anchor of Fox 5 TV show “Good Day New York” has been accused of raping a 29-year-old woman in her lower Manhattan law firm office on October 8, after the pair had drinks.
Due to the three month delay in reporting the alleged sexual assault, DA investigators are skeptical of the claims and are yet to charge the TV personality.
Kelly denied the accusations in a statement released by his attorney Andrew M. Lankler.
“Mr. Kelly is aware that the New York County District Attorney’s office is conducting an investigation,” the statement said.
“Mr. Kelly strenuously denies any wrongdoing of any kind, and is cooperating fully with the district attorney’s investigation. We know the district attorney’s investigation will prove Mr. Kelly’s innocence.”
