i imagined the sydney being the one but now in hindsight the judges were spot on. Being irish born and her back and forth to brisbane made her an extraordinary choice at levels beyond that. Having that asian and the irish/australian connection along with beauty - a great choice.

The last two nights of the 'Rose' is the culmination of a week's work by them. They are judged throughout the week on, deportment, attitude, style, interviews etc. It's not just based on the last two nights of the show - that's just the 'fun' part for the TV viewers.

I thought the Down Rose, Nicole Curran, was fabulous. She should've won. I heard last night that the winner was chosen before the event. Is that fair to all the other girls who participate? Doesn't seem like it to me, but I'm a Yank born and bred, so what do I know?

whoever backed this woman to win surely made some money...was the fix in ???I watched this online ..the MC is just great..what makes a winner there..I do not know...I liked the Wexford,Kerry and Roscommon Roses ..thought each would be better choice...to each his own...it may be political..
